Ipod not working ok
I got a 30gb in mid october and it worked fine up to some days ago. When I updated to 1.2.1, the whole system froze, and when y restarted it (click + menu). It would take around 5 to 30 seconds to froze again, continusly.
With some luck, I managed to conected agin, formated the hd, and afterwards I instaled the last ipod update program, with 1.1.2. This, 1.1.2 is the only firmware that works in my ipod since that, I've tried to reinstall 1.2.0 but it worked wrong the same as 1.2.1.
So I have two Qs.
There was a new codec or something that improves quality of the videos in 1.2 upwards?
And my battery life seams to be a bit low, I've been using the device alot, especialy with videos conected to tv and that sort of thing. But I've also been dischargin it till is empty and back again to full so it works beter. Can this be a reason for it? How much should it last?
