AirPrint Beacon for Network Printers on the Enterprise.

Has anyone used AirPrint Beacon on the Enterprise with Network printers? Trying to enable printing from BYOD devices to Corporate Network printers without managing the BYOD device.

Then challenge is that we do not want to have BYOD devices connected to the corporate network (where our printers connect to) due to privacy concerns and for security reasons.

Need the following information:

What is AirPrint Beacon? (Hardware/Software??)

How is it configured with our Canon & HP printers?

Any help would be appreciated.

Airprint issues with wifi. Unsure if extender Hi Everyone I was helping someone with their cannon printer (with airprint) and on their network, they have a netgear Wi-Fi extender and an arris router. I set the extender and router to the same SSID assuming that airprint could just detect the printer on the SSID itself. We were able to connect to the printer, but then a few days later, airprint stopped working and the printer was not detected. Air print blue tooth reception When trying to AirPrint from iPhone to canon mx492, the Bluetooth rarely picks up the printer. Is that due to poor cellular reception, as we don’t have WiFi or a router.
