Safari black screen
Safari no longer downloads documents when I click on them, and instead shows a black screen. I'm using High Sierra 10.13.4 on MacBook pro retina display.

I see that you're unable to download documents using Safari. The window just turns black, and I'm happy to help.
If Safari is slow, stops responding, quits unexpectedly, or has other issues -- Make sure this isn't due to an extension, plug-in or other add-ons.
If Safari doesn't load a page or webpage items are missing -- This article provides steps for everything else, but also includes extensions again. Feel free to skip that section if you tested them using the other article.
