27" (late 2013) iMac RAM compatibility
Just wondering if anyone can confirm if Corsair 32GB Vengeance DDR4 SODIMM 2666MHz Laptop Memory 2x16GB would be compatible with a late 2013 27" iMac as I have some sitting looking to be put to good use
No.
1. While the Late 2013 27" iMac can support up to 32GB of RAM, it can only read a maximum of 8 GB per slot.
2. DDR4 and DDR3 memory modules are physically different, so a module for one cannot in any way fit in a slot for the other.
