Mac Mini Late 2012 won't turn on

Hello Everybody!

I hope someone can help me with this pretty annoying issue.

Some douche unplugged the power from my mac mini (late 2012 i5) while it was still running. I'm not sure what is was doing because it was hooked up to my TV which was at that point displaying a different source.

Problem is that my mac mini won't turn back on.

I've disconnected the HDD, removed and replaced RAM, unplugged it from power, replugged it and pressed the power button while holding CMD+Option+P+R... Still dead.

The weird thing is that when i hold the power button for approx. 10 seconds you can see the fan moving a (very) little bit. But it just will not power up.

I'm kind of new to mac forums because i have never experienced any trouble with this one.

I Hope someone can help me with this.

Try an SMC reset:

Try starting up in Safe Mode:

Use safe mode to isolate issues with your Mac - Apple Support

If neither of those work boot into Recovery and Reinstall Mac OS.

If none of those work make a Genius Bar appointment for a free diagnostic:
