FCP X date and time one hour ahead

After importing several clips and adding the date/time title, the reflected time is always one hour ahead of the real time taken. Can't find any steps to change it to the correct time on my video projects.

Where are you located?

If you open your footage with MediaInfo on one of your clips, what does it say?

I tried this on one example, and it read:

User uploaded file

Notice it says: UTC, and the time is about 17:59.

The Date/Time title in FCP X, gives:

User uploaded file

So, it SEEMS there is an error!

But then when I look closely - note that I'm in Portugal, and in September DST is in effect, so that is the exact time the clip was recorded.

Portugal is in the GMT timezone, for which the time agrees with UTC; when DST is in effect, an hour is added, so... all is correct, over here.

Could it be that the same is happening to you?

Actually I asked Apple to look into this problem last year but to no avail. The camera clock is correct and we never had this issue using iMovie. But using FCPX came with the same problem. The metadata is correct - it's what their software does to it once imported. It's always 1 hour ahead. And because this footage is evidentiary, we can not adjust the camera back 1 hour to compensate. Right now, we put a notice on the video at the beginning to make a statement explaining this conversion error. That's not good but helps for now.
