Why can't I play my itunes music through my Samsung sound bar ? Seems a bit pointless having Samsung multiroom app available for ios devices if Apple won't let me play the music on a Samsung speaker!!
Does anyone know a simple, straight forward way of achieving this please?

If your soundbar has Bluetooth your just need to pair with your iPhone
Turn Bluetooth on soundbar & iPhone & wait for them to pair.

not familiar with the soundbar if it's Bluetooth based then it needs to be put into pairing mode before it can connect to a new device
if it rely on some special Samsung app from app store and that app does not work then I think you need to contact Samsung rather then apple, doubt apple sabotage apps from their own app store if anything they would had pull it from the store, having malfunctioning apps reflect poorly on them, if they have since pulled the app from the store it could be because it had issues.
