Will GarageBand Run Smoothly on MacBook 2018?

These are the specs for an upgraded MacBook. I know the Pro is more capable, I’m just curious mainly because I dig the design and colors. I usually run 8 to 16 tracks everything from drums, guitars, bass, synth, and vocals. So would the MacBook be usable? I really have no other use for a laptop except demoing songs.

I would think so. I use it on a 2013 Macbook Air with 4GB & a 1.3Ghz processor with no performance problems. Does the Macbook only have 1 USB? You might find you need a USB adapter though if you need to plug in a MIDI keyboard + other devices.

These are some fine specs and you will have no problem running GarageBand. With that, you can even run a fairly big Logic Project.

So no excuses anymore. Go ahead and make some great music. 😉

Hope that helps
