How do I fix Facebook working in Safari on a MAC?

For over a month Facebook has not worked properly on my i-Mac or MacBook Pro both running macOS Sierra 10.12.6. Facebook works fine on my IOS devices - i-Phone6 and i-Pad. I also have no problem using Firefox to enter Facebook on my i-Mac or MacBook Pro.

I have logged out and logged back on to Facebook and Safari on my Mac's and nothing changed. I also changed the password on Facebook and no change.

How do I fix this?

iMac (27-inch, Late 2013), macOS Sierra (10.12.6)

Ok ..

You may have a third party Safari extension or plug-in installed that's causing a conflict with Facebook.

You were able to change your password but could you please give us more details about, "not worked properly"?

Facebook opens but one post and one advertisement load and then the word "more" which I click on and just get the running three bars and nothing else loads. I also tried to open notifications but usually just get one post and then the three running bars or just the running bars.
