Why is my 2 year old iphone 6s battery suddenly draining? Just recently my phone battery has started draining. I kept it on standby overnight starting at 100% and in the morning it was at 1%. The usage was only at 30 min and the standby at 7+ hours so what is draining my battery?
iPhone 6s, iOS 11.4
theres something wrong. With the 11.4 update i have a new battery and had no issues until i got the 11.4 notification is when all of asudden my phone starts lagging and freezing at 50% health. Battery is only at 19% wear. When i did the update it got worse and started at 60% health slow touch response and it even shut off on me couple times. Ive had my 6s for two years with n issues until two weeks ago.
I did, it is at 82% which made me sad, but it still shouldn't be draining as fast as it is at that percent.
It’s Safari. I’ve just watched my battery % drop in real time from 65 to 59% in a few minutes
I change the battery of my iPhone 6S yesterday and today, it shutdown suddenly
Have you checked the maximum capacity percentage of your battery?
Settings>Battery>battery Life (beta)... then tap on it.

I have this too. When I check the battery usage, then 99% of the usage comes from Skype. Even when you do not use Skype (Like during the night), Skype takes all the battery usage.

That's what's going on with my iPhone 6 - it was pretty much fine as for a 2,5 yrs old battery, now it's really bad. What if I replace battery with new one and the problem will still be there?
That's what mine is doing. New battery 11 months ago. The advice from an Apple authorized dealer: Get a newer phone.
I have this exact same issue too with my 6s. I made an appointment at the apple store for this Friday. I will tell you what they say.
