Anyone know if there is an upgrade option that includes the possibility for 2 phone numbers to go to one cell phone?
I am opening a new business and I really don’t want to worry about 2 phones, forwarding, etc.
AT&T says they had never even thought about that.... so I put it in their “suggestion box”.
Anyone know if something like this is in the works? Thanks!!
As mentioned, there are dual SIM phones available, although in the USA they are somewhat rare, and expensive. If you explore that option note that many (if not all?) do not support both numbers simultaneously. They let you switch back and forth between SIMs and services but only one is active and in use at any one time.
A Google Voice number can be forwarded to a cell number. It effectively lets you have two numbers coming to the one device simultaneously. GV also supports SMS texts which can also be checked online in a web browser.
Or you can use a commercial VOIP Service like Skype for Business.

Google Voice is just a free phone number. It won’t require you to carry a second phone.
Also, there are phones out there that support multiple SIM cards at once, but the iPhone is not and has never been one that does.
A SIM card supports one telephone number.
You could have two different cellular units and forward one to the other.

"Worry"? There should be no "worry" regarding forwarding. You would do it one time.
I have not... I will look into that option, but I don’t believe This will solve my problem of having to have two phones in order to have two phone numbers. I can just as easily “forward” one number to the other. I do appreciate your feedback.

Have you considered using Google Voice? You just enter your number on the app and any calls to that number would just ring to your phone.
