Batch app icon won’t go away

Hi.

For about 5-6 months, my settings app has had a batch app icon that just won’t go away no matter what I do.

My phone (iPhone 6S Plus, 64GB) keeps saying it’s because I need to manage my storage and I keep getting notifications saying I have to free up some space. But in the settings, it very clear says that I have 30GB of unused storage (it says the same in iTunes when I plug the phone into my computer). It is honestly driving me insane that I can’t get rid of the badge app icon.

Can someone please help me??

First of all, your post (including title) says "batch app icon" twice, and "badge app icon" once. I don't know what "batch app icon" means, so I will assume you always mean "badge app icon" - something like this:

Are you certain this is referring to your iPhone storage? Might it instead be referring to your iCloud storage, that you're using to contain an iPhone backup (among other things)?

On "Settings" app (the one with the sprocket wheel) I've never seen a badge, except when I have an iOS or carrier update available.

Check this:

Go to Settings > General > iPhone Storage.
Find the iOS update in the list of apps.
If you find it, tap on it, then tap Delete Update.

Hi.

The badge app icon is the red bubble notification as referred to by the iPhone.

And yes, I am sure it’s the iPhone storage and not iCloud cause I don’t store anything there.

What do you see when you click "Manage Storage" in your above screen shot?

Perhaps you'll find some of the remedies suggested there helpful.

Seeing your screen shots is very helpful. Thanks for posting them.

Force restart the iPhone. Hold the on/off and home buttons together for about 10 seconds until the Apple logo appears.

I’ve already tried that so many times - the notification has been there for about 6 months, I’ve tried almost everything.. no luck..
