How do I remove a device from iCloud Music?

I recently sold an iPad Pro and apparently I didn't remove my info from my iCloud Music. However, when I attempt to remove the iPad from "my devices" in iTunes it's not possible. The iPad is recognized as one of my devices but the option to remove the iPad is grayed out. I'm new to this community so forgive me if I didn't include any pertinent info. I appreciate any feedback.
