macbook air

My MacBook Air early 2015 has no backlight . Plugged it into the power and it went dark. Screen appears to be still on as I can see with a torch. Has anybody had similar experience.

Please try these resets if you have not already.

1. Reset NVRAM/PRAM. http://support.apple.com/kb/PH18761

2. Reset SMC. Choose the method for “If the battery is non-removable”.
