MacBook Pro speakers suddenly got quiet

Hi, I have recently noticed that my 2016 MacBook Pro 13's (non-touchbar) speakers got very quiet so that even at max volume they sound the same as half the normal volume level. I have tried fixing it by resetting VRAM settings as suggested in this thread, https://www.quora.com/Suddenly-my-MacBook-Pro-13-inch-is-giving-a-low-sound-outp ut-when-compared-to-the-first-time-What-… But it was only a temporary fix as the next day the problem reappeared. I would appreciate if there is any permanent fix available to this problem. Is it just me getting this problem or is it common in these macbooks?

Thanks

MacBook Pro (13-inch, Late 2016, 2 TBT3), macOS High Sierra (10.13.5)

Good morning P.Khehra,

Welcome to the Apple Support Communities!

I understand the speaker volume on your MacBook Pro has reduced to half of its normal volume level. The resource below provides some troubleshooting steps for issues with your internal speakers. There is a link to contact Apple for a hardware inspection of your computer if needed.

Take care.
