Screenshot Error in Iphone SE IOS 11.4

Hey on the desktop version of this site there is a button on the original post and we have to click it. It’s called Me Too. This is how Apple track the volume on specific incidents / bugs. So click me too. In the meantime all we can do is keep replying until the thread builds and Apple do something about it. Their replies so far have been annoying and act like we simply don’t know how to take a screenshot when in reality we are reporting the functionality has BROKEN. I am very annoyed.

There is no Me Too, there is "I have this question too". But no, Apple does not use this to keep a count on how many have this issue. The only Apple people here are the Community Specialists, such as Joseph_S, who respond to posts that have gone unanswered for around 24 hours, and the moderators.

If you think there is a software bug that has broken screen shots for 34 or so people you need to go here: Feedback - iPhone - Apple and encourage others to do so. Or make a Genius Bar appointment to have the phone looked at and tested. It can also be tested by calling AppleCare.

On 11.4.1 on 6S Plus, I thought screenshot was not working, but then eventually heard a snapshot sound - turns out it was going straight into my photos without a flash of the screen nor the image shrinking to bottom left corner like previously. I assume this is a software bug they'll figure out.

Bull's eye.. Thats the main issue.. I too have this mobile iron and screenshot is not working..

I too have now lost the ability to take a screenshot on iOS 11.4 on my iPhone 7. Like the original poster, it is not a question of not knowing how to take a screenshot but rather we have lost the functionality!

As like the millions of others having this issue...I too have the same problem! NONE of the solutions mentioned here, or other forums have fixed the issue!! My iPhone 8 lost it's mind after updating to ios 11.4!! It's ridiculous that Apple hasn't any logical explanation or fix for this!! I guess I won't be able to take screenshots anymore until APPLE decides to acknowledge the issue and FIX IT!

1. On an iPhone 8 or earlier, iPad, or iPod touch, press and hold the Top or Side button.
2. Immediately click the Home button, then release the Top or Side buttons.
3. In iOS 11, a thumbnail of your screenshot appears in the lower-left corner of your device. Tap the thumbnail to add drawings and text with Markup, or press and hold the thumbnail to share the screenshot. Swipe left on the thumbnail to dismiss it.

What to do if a button or switch isn't working
