I recently switched from 7 Plus to X and I cannot find a function which I daily used on iPhones with Home button since the first generation iPhone.
Open the stock Clock app, switch to Alarms tab, press and hold Power button until slide to power off comes up, then press and hold Home button after releasing the Power button until the Clock app crashes. Where this function went in iPhone X?

Please note that it's rarely necessary to force close an app. It's really only required if the app is malfunctioning. Closing apps doesn't save battery life. In fact, it can even result in using more battery if the phone has to relaunch an app rather than un-suspend it.
