Brand new ipad air wifi cel 16 GB won't open and no sign of charge

Hello.I just bought an ipad air wifi+cel but it won't start.The screen remains black and while charging there is no sign of the battery nor any sign of charging.I tried the hard reset,but nothing happened.While on charging it gets worm but no sign of charging even after one hour.What's the problem?

P.s.I have no other apple charger to try it,but i tried to charge it on different wall power supplies,still won't open or charge.

What should i do?

If this is an original iPad Air and it was in a shrink wrapped box, it may have been sitting there uncharged for a couple of years. It's possible that it will never charge up. Try letting it charge overnight.


If it is an original iPad Air, which Apple hasn't sold in quite some time, it may not be under warranty. Check here:
