Comparing two audio files

Is there a process in LP and/or another app that can compare two identical/similar audio files (like two different bounces of the same track, or bounces of slightly different versions of the same track) and show/report any differences? Something analogous to Photoshop's Difference Blend Mode to compare layers may work. The formats of the files to compare would be the same (16b or 32b wav). The manual methods I use at the moment are not ideal.
