Can iPhoto on my 2015 MacBook Pro import RAW files from my new Sony A7iii camera? I cannot get

IPhoto on my 2015 MacBook Pro (10.13.4) is unable to import RAW files.

MacBook Pro, Mac OS X (10.7)

If the camera is not supported yet in iPhot, you will be out of luck. Aperture and iPhoto have not been update for a long time and cannot use the the RAW support built into the system, that came out after Digital Camera RAW Compatibility Update 6.17 in macOS 10.11 El Capitan.


When your Camera is supported on MacOS X, you will be able to use the RAW Support in Photos for Mac, however.
