HOW TO MAKE LINKS IN PREVIEW macOS HIGH SIERRA

How do I create a link on a text in PDF Preview, Os High Sierra version 10.13.5?

Apparently, Mac removed this feature, which came in handy in previous versions of Preview/PDF. I regret my update, and I'm sad that I cannot go back to my old version. Any help at hand?

Thanks in advance

Apple removed link annotation from Preview with the release of OS X Lion in 2011. The feature was present in Snow Leopard.

Using PDFKit, I can still search for a word in a PDF, and make a link on it — programmatically, but even this capability died in High Sierra. The Skim PDF viewer is based on the same Apple PDFKit API and does not offer Link Annotation either.

You will have to decide if you need to do sufficient link annotation that it is worthwhile to purchase one of the PDF editors (e.g. PDFpen/PDFpenPro) in the Mac App Store — that offer this feature.
