White Screen of Death

I get a white screen that's pixelated after about 10 seconds of bootup. And then it just stays there and the screen just randomly pixelates. Could it be a graphics card?

iMac, macOS High Sierra (10.13.5)

try resetting the SMC and NVRAM and then start up in safe mode and make a backup then make an appointment at the apple store

Almost certainly is. Take it to your local Apple Store or Apple Authorized Service Provider to be professionally diagnosed.

and yes it is probably the GPU
