flashlight and camera not working from iphone x lock screen

Hi, flashlight and camera is no longer working from iphone x lock screen. I have tried adjusting the 3D Touch, turned phone on and off. It used to work. I have version 11.4 as the latest update. Please help!

Thanks for using Apple Support Communities. It's my understanding that the Flashlight and Camera options have stopped working on a your iPhone Lock screen. You've done a great job trying to get this resolved. I'm happy to help.

I recommend you reinstall the iPhone iOS with iTunes. This step can resolve possible software issues. When reinstalling iOS, iTunes will completely remove your current software and install a fresh version. While iTunes will try to do this without removing data, it's a good idea to make sure you have a recent backup before trying this step.

Use the steps in the link below to reinstall iOS with iTunes:

Thanks Jeremy. I ended up not having to follow through with the process because I had my phone off completely for a four hour flight. And when I turned it back on, everything was working again. If it stops working I will certainly try what you suggested.

I’ve been having issues again with the features not working again. I tried the update of iTunes like you suggested it still not working. please assist, thanks
