IPhone X Battery Icon had X on it

The iasue is not with the battery. Its with the instagram app. Please find the attached screenshot. The cross on app alligns to the battery icon on the screen which appears as there is some issue with the battery. Re-installation of the app will fix this issue. Cheers

It only happens when someone post a live video story on Instagram that has a timed limit, but by the time you click to see the story, the story has expired. It’s definetly in the Instagram app but I don’t see it to be related to iPhone issues at all.

I just had it happen today for a moment. A quick google says maybe it was another app open with the X overlaying the battery icon perfectly. I don’t think I had another app open, so I can’t be sure.

Did you happen to open Instagram at the same time? Occurs for me when I do that

this actually just happened to me and i got a screenshot of it , anyone figure it out ?

Mine is doing the same think when I go into the Instagram app! Anyone know why??
