Updated Itunes on Windows doesn't see ipod shuffles

Hello.

I recently updated my itunes app to the latest version on my windows 10 computer. Once completed, itunes would not show either of my ipod shuffles when hooked into the usb port. I confirmed I can see my iphone and my ipad, both of which as for trust verification. But my little guys for running aren't being acknowledged. Is there another way to download podcasts/music/audiobooks to my shuffle not using my computer? Is there a way to make the latest update see my shuffles?

iPod shuffle, Windows 10

I tried to do this but I couldn't override "already having latest driver". It has been about a week since the issue started. Beyond a couple restarts to my computer, no other changes have been made. Today, after opening up iTunes and plugging in my ipod shuffle, iTunes opened a message box stating my shuffle was in recovery mode (?) and I would need to restore the ipod to factory settings. I did this and it worked! When I connected my 2nd shuffle, I again got the same message box. I'm not sure why my shuffles were in recovery mode or why this was not immediately detected. This issue is resolved, though not with high satisfaction. I will take it. Thank you to all of you who made suggestions. I appreciate your time and efforts!

In Itunes, I went into Help, Diagnostics and ran the device connectivity test. Turns out the following things were not installed: ipod support service, Apple mobile device support service. Under ports, no Ipad or ipod was found. Links from the help suggested I look for new drivers for my shuffle. I can confirm I have the latest drivers.

I then did this same test with my iphone hooked up. The support services were again found to be not installed and not running. I'm wondering if I uninstall intunes and then reinstall if the issue will correct itself. I'm going to try this.

I reinstalled iTunes and it did not help. I can confirm both shuffles have the most up to date drivers. I still get the same diagnostic results regarding device connectivity. Perhaps "ipod support service" isn't installed on home computers? Perhaps "apple mobile device" doesn't run on home computers? I am at a loss. If anyone else has this issue and figures out how to fix, please let me know.
