Free Ad Blocker For MD510/10.3.3 iPad

The only ad blocker that I have on the old, but still going strong iPad is Weblock, but it's not being updated. And It appears to be slowing down Safari. I haven't made an exhaustive search on the App Store, but with every one I've tried to download, the not compatible with this iPad comes up.

Also, I have tried all the recommended fixes for slow browsing, ad nauseam.

I use the free version of AdGuard on my Mac Pro, iPhone 6s and 6th gen iPad. It’s available in the App Store.

Once installed, launch the app itself and turn on the Annoyances option. Since you already use an older ad blocker, I presume you’re aware you then need to go into Settings > Safari > Content Blockers and turn AdGuard on.

I mention this particular ad blocker since I have a good amount of experience with it, and can say it does very well blocking most ads without slowing my devices down.

Yes, it’s an old model, but it runs circles around the much newer iPad Pro c/w the latest iOS, when it comes to battery usage longevity.

And yes I know, it’s all my fault that the iPad Pro with the latest iOS, runs out of juice long before the older iPad that’s still used whenever the iPad Pro with the latest IOS is homesteading at the end of the charger.
