VPN and iCloud Drive issues

First time VPN user here. I heard a lot of good things about Nord on my search to find a decent VPN, so I decided to go with them.

Anyway, I'm experiencing some trouble using the VPN.

Specifically, it doesn't appear to get along with iCloud Drive very well. Like, at all.

So I was noticing that whatever I do on iCloud Drive on my phone doesn't ever upload to iCloud and sync with my devices after I installed and connected to the VPN. Oddly enough, when I disconnected, it wouldn't upload and sync either. Endless restarting of my phone, disconnecting from VPN, etc etc etc.

I would see the hollow cloud symbol next to the items that haven't uploaded to iCloud. It wouldn't go away, they would never upload and never sync, connected or disconnected to VPN.

So basically I have no idea what's going on here.

That's the only issue I've had. Google Drive works, browsing is fine, Facebook, Instagram, Reddit, everything else iCloud based, all that works fine (albeit slightly slower)
