Keyboard Mapping Error
Hi,
I just received a new 12 iBook from a friend and some of the keys are not typing the correct characters. For example - if I type shift + 7, I get ' and if I type shift + 8, it displays ( . There are other similar errors, however the letters seem to be displaying properly.
I made sure that the international keyboard settings in system prefs has a check by US, and US is the only one checked.
The OS is 10.4.8, can this be fixed without having to reformat/restore the whole OS?
