Photos not importing to Macbook

Hi

My Macbook has stopped importing photos from my iPhone - the last images copied over are from 14th April.

I'm a complete technophobe so any suggestions gratefully received before making an appt at the Genius bar.

There are multiple things that you may have to do to import photos from iOS to Mac. Some basics include:

1. Make sure the Mac has enough storage space

2. Have your iPhone unlocked and accept any permission requests from both the iPhone and the Mac.

3. In general, try to have both the Mac and iPhone running the latest macOS and iOS, respectively.
