I am not sure if it is possible but here is my question :
I have an Apple TV 4 and I will probably buy the new 4K but I don't want to reinstall all the apps and stuff on the new 4k. Is there a way to backup the existing Apple TV 4 to a new 4K ? If it is possible, what are the steps ?

One Home Screen will install and arrange (layout: order, folders), and keep it synced over time.
The real question is : can an Apple TV be backup and restore on another Apple TV just like an iPhone or iMac ?
No it can’t be backed up locally. The Apple TV 4K also lacks the USB port that previous generations had.
You can set ‘One Home Screen’ to match home screens (thus all your apps, but not necessarily app settings) on all Apple TVs with the same iCloud Apple ID.
