Car charger specs for Iphone SE

I need to purchase a car charger for my Iphone SE - what specs should I look for (or stay away from?)?

Qualcomm OK? Quick Charge 3.0? USB C connector OK??

You definitely don't want a USB C connector. The iPhone does not have USB-C port or cable for that. So unless you plan on buying an extra USB-C to Lightning cable, avoid that type of charger.

Beyond that, easiest thing to do, is just look for a charger that has the "Made for iPhone/iPad/iPod" label which means its certified to work with iOS devices.

Otherwise, you are looking for a 5 or 10 or 12 watt charger with 5 volts at between 1 and 2.1 amps for best results.

Pretty much any car charger adapter with a regular USB port will work for that.

One should work with a passive USB-C (connector) to USB-A (port) adapter, but that's kind of awkward. That might be useful if the OP has a device that can charge using the USB-PD standard though.
