Word Suggestions Appearing On iOS Keyboard

When I unlocked my phone tonight, there was a row above the characters on my keyboard that had word suggestions. It appears to be different than predictive text, since that option IS disabled on my phone. On the far right of the suggested words is an arrow that pulls up a menu of more words. As far as I know there was no iOS updated or other change to my phone - this just changed. How can I turn this new thing off or get rid of it, I don't need or want this extra row of stuff above my keyboard.
