Why does my phone say “does not support” whenever I plug my charger in?

My phone will charge for about 2 minutes before this message pops up. Then it will stop charging after I click dismiss.

Check the charging port for dust/dirt/debris. If needed, clean the port with a soft brush.

Hi,

can you be more specific:

you try to charge on an apple charger?

on your computer?

Was it working before that?

what is the model of your iphone?

I have an iPhone 7. I’ve had it for about a year and a half. I have tried Apple chargers and other chargers as well. It has never really given me a problem before this.
