Contact Photo is not shown as full screen

Hello Team,

I have bought iPhone X (256GB) last week and I am facing a strange issue while managing the contacts.

When I assign a contact photo and an incoming cal is received from the contact, the picture is shown as full screen only for the first time. Whereas from second time onwards, the picture is just shown as a thumbnail image. Sometimes, this is the case even for the first time incoming call.

I have tested it in my old iPhone 5S and 7 Plus, they both are working perfectly. All the devices are in the latest iOS11.4.

It is really annoying to see such behavior on my brand new phone. Please help me to solve this problem.

On your iPhone, tap the contact and tap edit. Tap edit for the contact photo. Move the contact photo just slightly in the circle and then save. The next time the contact calls, it should be full screen again.

Hey, I managed to fix it.

I was using google contacts. I stopped syncing my contacts from Google and started using iCloud contacts and it worked. Not sure if that was the problem, however it solved my issue.

But I will try R&D to know the cause ;-).

Hi, I have the same issue and I tried using iCloud contacts, many times i repeated first time it shows Image in full screen from the second time it shows thumbnail image.Its very strange

Actually it was working correctly in last version (iOS 10) With the same Image.

Please help me with this
