My phone says: activation could not be completed. Please restore the phone and install the latest version of iOS and attempt activation again. If the problem persist, please contact customer care. I activated it 3 years ago, and this massage appeared 2 days ago. What should I do?

It's a bit late to be worried about your data now. If it wasn't previously backed up, then it's already gone at this point.


You have no option of what version of iOS to install other than the current version.

Thank you! The thing is that i do not want to loose all the data i have on my phone (e.g. photos) since i did not do a security save to iCloud or to my computer. Its about 6000 photos and also videos.
Also I am using iOS 9 and I am aware of updating it to 11. Do you recommend something else?
