It’s just an IPhone 8, not plus. It’s my first time ever cracking any phone, if that matters at all. I checked to see if I have AppleCare but I don’t, I just have “Apple’s Limited Warranty“.

No where in your chart is $29 fee with Apple Care listed, and besides that, the back glass on the iPhone 8 is not screen damage, it is device damage and is covered under "other damage". It requires a device replacement.
