It has been established while attempting to watch Netflix on an Apple TV 4K one will occasionally get the "red circle of death" that freezes Apple TV.
Has a specific cause been determined? Is there a fix? I am getting tired of getting up and unplugging my Apple TV. The Netflix red circle does not always disappear when I unplug my Apple TV. Very Frustrating.

I have since done a full rest with software update, etc.
So far so good. I have turned the unit off and on several times and switched between apps.
Netflix work fine during this trial period.

did you try a full reset? have you tried with the device wired instead of wireless?
do other devices on your network stream netflix 4k in the same location without this problem?
Thank you for responding....Netflix will stream from my iPad to the Apple TV and work fine when the Apple TV is hung up with the spinning red circle. I do not know if Netflix is 4K, but my Apple TV is.
