Show My Caller ID SETTING greyed out and can't be changed, what can I do?

I have an iPhone SE . All software is up to date but the setting to turn Show My Caller ID is greyed out and can't be changed. I have try contacting my carrier but they haven’t reach out to me and sincerely I don’t know if it is enabled from their end. This started to happen when I did the Update, any advice will be appreciated!!! Thank Yo 😊
