Looks like no one’s replied in a while. To start the conversation again, simply ask a new question.

No sound on Safari.

Watching http://pro.britishtvchannels.com/ on Safari tried on 2 iMacs and MacBook all with latest OS. but no sound, using Firefox works fine.

iMac, iOS 11.4, 27" 3.5 Ghz i7 32Gb RAM

1. Reset NVRAM/PRAM. http://support.apple.com/kb/PH18761

2. Reset SMC. Choose the method for “If the battery is non-removable”.

If this doesn't help, please run EtreCheck and post the report here. This is a diagnostic test.

Click “Free Download” button, open Downloads folder, click on it to open, and then select ”Open”.

Click on the bouncing EtreCheck icon in the Dock.

“Choose a problem” from the popup menu box, and then “Start EtreCheck” in the dialog.


Click “Share Report” button in the toolbar, select “Copy to Clipboard” .

Paste it into the reply.
