is anyone else getting an error when trying to download update ios11.4 to iphone 6?

Check the links I provided. It could be you don't have the latest version of iTunes. What computer OS you using? What is the exact version number of iTunes you are using? Go to the menu bar and select Help>About iTunes.It should be version 12.7.5.
The second link on over-the-air updates should help. Make sure you have sufficient free space on the phone and that you have a stable wi-fi connection. It might be a good idea to also have the phone connected to power as well.
What error message are you getting?
It says "unable to install update, an error occurred installing IOS 11.4"

Yes I have the latest itunes you referenced. I am trying to update using my iphone 6, as i normally do. Not my computer.
