I have 16,218 completed reminders and when I try to get rid of them by clicking Clear Completed Reminders on iCloud.com from my Mac nothing happens. Its driving me crazy. It takes forever for my reminders to open on my Mac and I assume this is why. Anyone know how I can fix this? Thanks.

Do you use any anti virus , third party applications , softwares in Mac if they are uninstall all of them , create a new user account and test see this article How to test an issue in another user account on your Mac - Apple Support
And don't delete the original user account for the time being .

Well, I was able to delete them. The 0 was so nice to see... and then I came back later and they were all back. 😟
I’m thinking of erasing my Mac and just starting over with a clean install at this point. Getting too frustrated.
