Question

8 plus camera sound

I want to turn ON the camera click sound on my new Iphone 8 plus. I like to hear the click to know I took the picture. Anyone know how to do this?

Adjust shutter-sound volume. Adjust the volume of the shutter sound using the Ringer and Alerts settings in Settings > Sounds (called Sounds & Haptics on models with system haptics). Or mute the sound using the Ring/Silent switch. (In some countries, muting is disabled.)

go to settings>camera>preserve settings>live photo - turn off. Open the camera app and in the top center there is a yellow circle thingy if live photo is on. Tap that if it is yellow

Nope...….doesn't work. I am trying to HEAR the camera click. When I take a picture there is no sound at all. Nothing on the ringer or sounds setting either. But thanks.
