iMac & Logitech Z5500 ?

Years ago I bought the Logitech Z5500 surround system, at the time had a laptop so bought M-Audio's Transit USB which these days is no longer supported. I now have an iMac (late 2012) and want to connect them, the options still seem very limited. The Transit Pro is way to expensive, what can I do to connect them ? (with 5.1)

iMac (21.5-inch, Late 2012), macOS Sierra (10.12.2)

thunderbolt 3 device to firewire 400 port? This is probably a ridiculous question, but I've searched the web and could really only find people wanting to connect an old Firewire device to a newer computer's Thunderbolt port. My dilemma runs in the opposite direction...I have an early 2008 Mac Pro which I plan to replace with a newer iMac within the next couple of months. I'm looking to get a UA Arrow Thunderbolt 3 audio interface to use with the iMac, but wondered if I get the interface early if there's any way to hook it up to my Mac Pro to try it out and get used to it. My current audio interface is FW400 and 10 years old, so I plan to retire it.This Mac Pro doesn't have FW800, only 400, and some (early generation?) USB ports. I wouldn't be worried necessarily about taking advantage of the Thunderbolt speed at this point, and so hoped there might be a cable adapter chain I could use to make it work in the meantime.I'm sure there are all kinds of architectural reasons this wouldn't work, but figured I'd ask just in case...Thanks!

usb-c hub macbook air hi there I need to buy a USB-C hob which allows me to connect to a couple of USB wires . Apple don't have such an item. Can a macbook air user recommend one (I have a 2020 macbook air); thanks so much

Connecting a sound system to the mini m1 2020 Good Evening. :-) I've got the new mac mini m1 and an older sound (multimedia/home cinema-) system with an integrated 5.1. amplifier (Motiv 5) and a decoder-station too, both made by Teufel. I would like to know if there is a way to connect this devices. Maybe there won't be any surround sound but halfway acceptable stereo quality would be enough for me ...at first. Would that work? And if so, what would I need? Thank you for your support!
