I received a email notification that My apple Id will be disable because of some violated policies. Is this a legit notification or another scam from china on the iCloud. It relates that the following changes to your account ware <(misspelled) on 30 June 2018 at 3:18 am UTC. I was sound asleep at that time and my computer was down. What's up with this.

Almost definitely spam. See what the sender email was. If it is anything that doesn't end in "@apple.com" then it is spam.
Spoofing a return address is ridiculously easy. It's undoubtedly a scam. Do NOT use any links that may have been included in the message.
You mentioned that something was misspelled? If so, HUGE red flag that it is fake. You can forward it to reportphishing@apple.com
