I am trying to download IOS 11 on a iPhone 6 Plus that currently has IOS 9.3.1 installed. I see the option to update in the software update section but when I click "download and install", it simply just continuously loads. Do I first need to update to 10 and then 11? Thanks.

You cannot load 10. Have you plugged it into your iTunes computer using a USB cord to see if it will update? Make sure iTunes is up to date before plugging it in. It may take time to download.
