I no longer can hear Siri unless headphones plugged in. There have been a lot of suggestions but none have worked so far. It seems to have started when I updated 11.4 to the best I can remember.

Has anyone found a real fix yet?

Hi Fireguy1969,

It sounds like you're having some trouble hearing Siri give voice feedback when you're not using your headphones. I like having Siri set up to meet my needs, and I want to help you get Siri configured to your liking.

Let's go to Settings > Siri & Search > Voice Feedback. Here we need to make sure that the Always On option is checked.

After you have Always On checked, go back to the Home screen and test invoking Siri without your headphones in.

Is this working as you expect it to now? Let me know if this helped.

Here are some other useful tips for Siri & Search:
Use Siri on your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch - Apple Support
Make requests - iPhone User Guide

As you haven't stated what you've already tried, this may be something you've already explored but, my mind reading skills aren't what they used to be. 😉

Invoke Siri by pressing and holding the Home button. While Siri is active on the screen, use the volume buttons to raise the volume. You may discover that Siri's volume has been turned down. I did this once, still don't know how and was almost ready to restore my phone before I found this answer.
