How do i convert a .mov into a .mp3 using my iphone?
My friend sent me a video of him playing guitar (.mov) but i want to put it on a cd (.mp3) how can i convert the video into the mp3?
Personally, I would convert it on a desktop computer, as you would need that for CD burning anyway.
But I found that there are actually many apps in the iOS App Store to do the video-to-mp3 conversion on your iPhone.
Search for “convert to mp3” in the App Store. I suspect some of those 20+ results will work on online sources, which is probably not what you want.
QuickTime Player on Mac will export a movie to audio only, in the .m4a format. Similar to .mp3, but not interchangeable everywhere. E.g. some car audio players will play MP3 Discs, but skip other audio formats.
Like the iOS App Store, the Mac App Store also has many apps that can convert video to mp3.
