my. Earpods won’t work after I dropped my iPhone 7 with the EarPods inside bit my iPhone charges fine are my EarPods broken or is it my phone, it plays videos but when I plug in my EarPods it says device not recognized

Probably. Call your local Apple Store and make an appointment for them examine the iPhone and EarPods. Afterward they will tell you your alternatives.
