iPhone 8 Plus iOS 11.4 w/ black screen, need to recover photos

Hi, guys!

I need some help regarding my iPhone. The famous black screen of death got to my iPhone. This does not trouble me much because the warranty has not expired yet.

The problem is that the last time a made a back up of my photos was March 3rd and I don't know how to recover them as they are not uploaded to the iCloud.

Do you have any suggestions on how to recover them? When somebody tries to call me, the caller hears that the phone is ringing but the phone itself doesn't actually make any sounds nor vibrates.

I have tried pressing the Home button + Wake/Sleep button for more than 10 seconds, the only result that I get is more despair and still black screen. I also tried connecting it to the computer and iTunes, the result is the same. It's an iPhone 8+ with the lastest update of iOS 11.

Please, please, someone give a little hint on what to do as my photos are really important to me (and yes, I know I am really stupid for not making a back-up).

Thanks,
Rosie

Hi

If you had iCloud backup turned on before problems then when you last charged your iPhone it should have been backed up to iCloud Over your wifi.

Try a reboot it different for iPhone 8

Press the side volume up button quick then the side volume down button quick

Then press & hold power button down until you see apple logo.

Let me know if this works.

Cheers
