Apply Music playlists suddenly Unavailable

I've been using Apple Music for quite some time now. Today I came home, pulled it up, went to play a playlist that I listen to all the time when I get message the item is unavailable in my country. I've been checking some posts to see what is going on and it seems this happens from time to time, but most of the posts deal with people unable to access their accounts or because of some licensing issue for new songs. These are playlists offered by Apple Music that I listen to all the time. Could somebody please explain what happened?

Posted this problem in Portuguese also in the Brazilian tech support community. Everybody keeps giving responses about licensing (it isn't licensing as I can access the music through the individual albums) or about playlists I have stored on icloud, which it is not, as it involves those playlists suggested by Apple Music. Someone else responded n the Brazilian forum that he has the same issue, but found if he right clicks on the playlist to Show in Apple Music, it opens normally, and if you click on the playlist to play without trying to open it, it also plays. It is only when you try to open the playlist by just clicking on it. The message says the item is not available here. Contacted tech support for Apple Brazil in Portuguese and the guy simply said it is a licensing issue, which means he didn't even bother to read my comment nor did he bother to investigate. I got in touch with tech support in English and the tech was amazing, noted that this might be a possible issue developing in the Brazilian version of Apple Music, but was unable to resolve the problem. We had scheduled a call for today to try more troubleshooting when as mysteriously as the issue began, it disappeared. Everything is now working properly.

More interesting still, if I simply click on the playlist to play, it plays. If I right click on the playlist to show in Apple Music, it shows up. The problem only happens when the playlist is initially clicked on to exhibit the list and then play. Apparently I'm not the only one, as this has shown up on other computers in Brazil, but not on iphones or ipads. It isn't a question of icloud syncing or signing out then signing back in.It is apparently a problem with itunes. Others are having this problem both on the mac version and the windows version.

I've been trying to find out more, researching. so far, all I'm able to find is information about individual songs suddenly grayed out (which I understand). this is different. Suddenly all Apple Music playlists have become unavailable for me on my Mac. But not on my iphone, where they play just fine. I do not understand. I've tried signing out and signing in, it does not help. I can navigate to individual songs I know are on the playlists and I can access them perfectly. But the playlists are no longer available. This makes no sense. I'm in Brazil and even the playlists for Brazilian music come up with item not available The item you've requested is not currently available in Apple Music in Brazil. If that were the case, why can I still listen to them on my iphone? And how do they go unavailable overnight? This is really frustrating.
